THREE QUESTIONS
TO LÉONARD ANTHONY

How to turn fatigue into an ally?

By turning conventional wisdom on its head! To really rest, to do nothing, is not as easy as we seem to think. To achieve this, I recommend changing your habits to open up another space-time. For example, there are times when we need to step away from the electronic devices that drain our energy, and relearn how to give free rein to our daydreams…

Cultivating these states gives us the opportunity to encounter fatigue, to listen to it, and not just to exhaust ourselves fighting it. This means accepting to stop, to “lose time” in order to gain time. In fact, it’s the most appropriate response to the message it sends us. Secondly, we need to stop thinking of our body as a tool at our disposal and reintegrate it at the heart of our existence, because we are our thoughts and our body.

How do you "be present to yourself"?

This means putting on hold our desire to analyze everything, to control everything, to succeed at all costs, to allow each of us to be more in touch with our feelings, to refine and deepen our perceptions, our intuition.

So, for example, by taking advantage of a real break, one of our most precious resources – imagination – can regain its place, offering us new creative possibilities with real power.
It’s up to each of us to see the consequences, in terms of our way of life, our sensitivity to our family environment, our work and even our everyday actions.

.

How can we find a form of fulfillment?

Once again, sometimes you just need to do nothing for a moment, and everything becomes possible… I invite you to take the time to look at how you approach your pleasures, do you consume them like everything else… with a click? Or do you take the time to feel them, to explore with all your faculties what makes you feel good, to allow yourself to deepen and cultivate them? The race for performance, in which we all find ourselves, leaves far more room for frustration than for fulfillment. Reconnecting with your body’s sensations, using your imagination as a lever in the heart of silence, is one of the foundations of my approach to self-development.
